The Community Speed Watch team were in Pelton Parish on 1.9.22 and this is their report.

We did our first speed watch on Station Lane, as I thought it would be a good idea now that the new speed bumps are in place.

We did the watch on Thursday the 1st. of September at 4.30 p.m. The total number of vehicles checked was 50, of these 37 vehicles were doing 30 m.p.h or less and 13 vehicles were doing 31 to 34 m.p.h. No vehicles were doing 35m mph or over which warrants a warning letter. This is an improvement on previous watches where there were always some vehicles exceeding 35 m.p.h.
