There are now two main ‘tiers’ of local government. Pelton Parish Council is a large sized council currently delivering a number of very local services. It is, also a very ambitious council which is proactive in making life better for the residents of Pelton, Pelton Lane Ends, Newfield, Grange Villa, Perkinsville and parts of West Pelton and High Handenhold.
