The Parish Council have recently received correspondence from WHP Telecoms regarding the following-

• Proposed 18.0m Phase 8 monopole c/w wraparound cabinet at base and associated ancillary works located at Front Street, Newfield, DH2 2SP.

At a Council Meeting held on 24.2.21 the Parish Council agreed to send an objection letter to the proposal detailing the reasons for the objection. I have attached a copy of the letter sent to WHP Telecoms by the Parish Council.

A request for a consultation meeting is included within the letter. We will update you when a response is received from WHP Telecoms.

In addition, the telegraph pole next to the bus shelter has a notice attached detailing the intention for BT to install a telegraph pole for Fibre Broadband. The Parish Council has written to BT to advise they are objecting to the proposed mast and cabinets as this may be part of the same project.
