Due to the recent storms and residents not having access to electricity for long periods- Pelton Parish Council, Ouston Parish Council and Urpeth Parish Council are holding a joint zoom meeting on 17.2.22 to discuss a Community Emergency Plan. Laura Dobson, Civil Contingencies Officer, Durham County Council and Bill Stephenson, Community Engagement Officer, Environment Agency will be providing further information to the local Councillors and Key Stakeholders including Clare Robinson, Pelton Community Centre Manager who has been working proactively to utilise the community building in the event of a future emergency.
