This morning the Parish Council have received the following information from Bellway Homes –

‘”We have placed 2 signs next to the Council’s land (photos below) earlier this morning. Bellway have a licence agreement in place with Durham County Council to undertake initial surveys on the council-owned land, including a topographical survey, ground investigation and ecology survey. These surveys will commence from Wednesday 21 September.

As stated previously, we are still at the very early stages of identifying whether housing could come forward in Pelton. The investigations we are undertaking will help us with this process.

Once we have further information to share, we will be in touch with the Parish Council.
