Pelton Parish Council recently held a competition for local children to design the Parish Council Logo. The standard of entries was high which made the choice of choosing a winner particularly difficult for the Councillors. After much deliberation they chose a design created by Ella Peacock. The logo will be the official logo for the Parish Council and will be included in all of our official documents, etc. The  Councillors incorporated Ella’s idea of a banner, bees and flowers into the new logo.

Cllrs Joyce Roberts & Clare Todd presented Ella with a £20.00 Book Token during her school assembly where the pupils were dressed for bad taste day in order to raise money to purchase reusable cups at their school instead of disposable ones. Saving the environment one step at a time. Well done!

Roseberry Primary School and Pelton Community Primary School have also been provided with a £50.00 donation by the Parish Council for taking part in the competition.
