Local residents recently asked the Parish Council for some funds to plant bedding plants and bulbs throughout the village. A donation of bedding plants, compost and bulbs of nearly £200.00 has helped local residents to plant colourful combinations around the village. A big thank you to Heather Thompson, Ray McDermott and Jimmy Steele for volunteering their time to plant the cheerful blooms in the local area. I’m sure you’ll agree that they look fabulous- the guys look good too but I’m talking about the flowers!
