The Community Speed Watch Team were in Pelton Parish and Pelton Electoral Division on 29th June 2021 and this is their updated report.

We did Ouston catching vehicles coming in from Perkinsville..50 vehicles..40 were 30 mph or less..10 were between 31 and 34 mph..none were over 35 mph, so no speeding issue here.
We then did Beamish Station Lane..20 vehicles…15 were 30 mph or less…10 were between 31 and 34 mph.. no one was over 35 mph.so again no speeding issue here but due to a new road surface traffic was slower than normal so the figures do not reflect the road in normal conditions.
We then went to Grange Villa Stonerow just passed the cicane as it comes to the junction. 25 vehicles.20 were 30 mph or less..4 were between 31 and 34 mph..1 was over 35 mph. so once again no speeding issue, this one is for Dan Powell as he has had a complaint from some resident and asked for it.

We will do all these sometime at a later date.
